Scriptwriting is a specific skill that translates from the college classroom to the professional world in the arts as well as in professional media. A scriptwriting minor will produce graduates who are able to understand key conventions and techniques of scriptwriting in order to create original scripts and creative work in a variety of formats and genres. Students will engage in coursework across three departments 鈥� English, Film and Theater 鈥� which will encourage students to think broadly, make connections across departments and see the work of scriptwriting through more than one disciplinary lens.
