Designed for versatile musicians aiming to excel as woodwind doublers, the Master of Music in Multiple Woodwinds Performance provides comprehensive training across various instruments. This performance intensive degree is intended for students who hold a Bachelor of Music degree from a NASM accredited institution and have the technical, performance and academic potential to succeed in the field.
Students engage in personalized applied study, extensive ensemble work (especially OCU's nationally-ranked opera and music theater productions), exploring all genres from classical to jazz and contemporary, and pedagogical development. This unique program equips graduates with the skills necessary for success in pit orchestras, studio settings, and educational roles. Multiple Woodwinds students will develop expertise on four (4) woodwind instruments.
Our MM Multiple Woodwinds alumni have seen success in the field, with recent graduates performing on the touring produtions of Chicago, Little Women, Aadams Family, as well as earning admission to competative doctoral graduate music programs.
