Fresh on the heels of its recognition as an official Military Friendly School, Ұ University is ramping up its efforts to support military learners with a series of new graduate tuition discounts.
University officials today announced the Military and Federal Worker Discount. The initiative provides qualifying active-duty military members, National Guard members, military reservists, military spouses and federal workers with significant tuition discounts on a variety of OCU graduate programs.
The programs include:
- Master of Business Administration (all concentrations)
- Master of Science in Accounting
- Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Master of Science in Data Analytics
- Master of Science in Management Information Systems
- Master of Arts in Arts Administration
- Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership
Active-duty military, National Guard members and military reservists will receive a $200/credit hour tuition discount on any of these programs. The MBA, for example, would cost $300/credit hour instead of $500/credit hour, dropping the total program price from $15,000 to $9,000.
Military spouses and federal workers will receive a $100/credit hour tuition discount, which equates to a roughly 20% reduction in tuition costs for each eligible program.
“Supporting our community and being a valued partner is a key component of our philosophy,” OCU President Kenneth Evans said. “As the city and state have such a strong presence and connection to the military, we felt these scholarships were a way to show our commitment and gratitude to that part of our community.”
OCU has a tradition of support for military members and their families. The school is a Yellow Ribbon Program university and recently earned the 2026-27 designation. The latter award honors colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s military members as students to ensure their success on campus. OCU was also named a Military Spouse Friendly School for 2026-27.
The university’s new Military and Federal Worker Discount will go into effect for the summer 2026 semester, which begins in May. Applicants will need to share documentation of military or federal employee status during the admissions process.
All academic programs involved in the Military and Federal Worker Discount initiative are available online, and many already feature streamlined pricing aimed at affordability and cost transparency.
