Biography

Lauren Donaldson was born in Oklahoma and primarily grew up in Enid. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 with a degree in Anthropology. She obtained her Masters of Health Sciences in 2010 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center Physician Associate Program. Since 2010, she has maintained her certification from the National Commission of the Certification of Physician Assistants. In 2014, Lauren became one of twenty-two people in the United States to acquire the Pediatric Certificate of Added Qualification indicating her expertise in the field. An honor she maintains to this day.

Lauren’s clinical experience began in the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Department along with the Forensic Pediatric Specialties Clinic at OU Children’s Hospital. In 2019 she transitioned to primary care pediatrics, before shifting into urgent care medicine in 2023. She has presented at medical conferences locally, nationally and internationally primarily lecturing on pediatric topics.

Lauren lives in Norman with her spouse and two children. When she’s not running after her boys, she can be found in her garden, reading a book or starting a new art project.
