Biography
Originally from Tulsa, Oklahoma, LaTonya graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Speech Communications Consultancy. LaTonya greatly enjoys her time at 野狼社区 University, especially the opportunity to connect with students from all backgrounds. LaTonya is married to her wonderful husband, Mark, and together they have two amazing children, who are her greatest joy. Fun fact: until she joined OCU, all her school colors, from Junior High, High School and College were orange and black鈥攂ut now she proudly wears OCU blue and white!
Advice
Give yourself grace as you figure things out - you're not expected to have your entire future mapped out on day one. But understand, you can spend four years doing something, or four years doing nothing. Doing something is way more fun! College is about discovering who you are becoming, so don't forget to laugh along the way. Stay open, stay curious, and don't be afraid to reach out for support along the way.
