Biography
Jesse Couturier-Herndon is the Drawing & Rendering adjunct professor at 野狼社区 University. He holds a BFA in Painting from the Savannah College of Art & Design, and a Post-Baccalaureate in K-12 Art Education. He鈥檚 taught 6 through 12th grade Art in Georgia, Florida, and Oklahoma in rural, urban, and alternative school settings and has been teaching Drawing, Painting, and Design courses in Edmond since 2016.
He was selected to be on the Oklahoma Department of Education curriculum frameworks writing team, which develops strategies to help teachers better implement our state鈥檚 Art standards into their classrooms. He鈥檚 won sidewalk art, scarecrow, sand sculpture, and congressional art competitions around the country and is a member of the National Art Education Association.
